Frequently Asked Questions for Good Food Co
1. Do we get to choose the vegetables we order?
No, we’ll be packing the baskets with preference for what’s in season with particular staples like tomatoes and lettuce. We’re keeping the operation standard and simple this time around but if all goes well, we may be able to accommodate another level of complexity on the next run!
2. Can we suggest vegetables to plant for the next season?
Yes, you can. But we have to work with the farmers to see what the land is capable of producing. If it’s a new variety to them, they would have to do trials before they go into mass production or planting.
3. Do you have coffee beans, organic chicken, and eggs?
Not yet.
4. Is there an option for delivery?
Yes, there is an option for delivery but we have to charge extra to cover the special trip. You can discuss this with your Good Food Co. friend.
5. Is this a year long “subscription”?
The regular run is a 12-week commitment, but you can also choose to buy in 4-week or 1-week installments. While we’d like to assure the farmers of a longer period, we’re still sensing how this joint enterprise feels for both stakeholders like you and the farmers.
6. Can we get smaller portions for the weekly delivery?
We did a quick market survey, and you’re right, our 3.5 kg is really meant for 2-3 people at least. Perhaps you can explore a twin-sharing arrangement. You may have friends, family, or officemates living near you that can split the weekly delivery with you. Or if you don’t, we may be able to pair you with a new friend who does if s/he lives super near and both of you are game with the arrangement. I hope the size doesn’t deter you because we believe we can work around it. In fact if you can figure out how to do this in your circumstance, we can show other people that it can be done!
Alternatively, you can also choose the salad pack option which contains less vegetables.
7. Can you include recipes with the produce you’ll be delivering?
Yes, we provide recipes with your veggies every week. For past recipes, check out the Good Food Community Kitchen or our Weekly Recipes page. You can also e-mail us recipes you’ve tried at goodfoodcommunity@gmail.com so we can share it with everyone!
8. I’m convinced! What do I do now?
Choose your SET, fill up our form, and sign up in the Be A Stakeholder page. Available sets and their corresponding prices are indicated there.

If someone else will pick your veggies up on your behalf (at the same pick-up point), please inform us before they arrive so we don’t accidentally give your veggies to a stranger.
